URA Marlo Lulgjuraj awarded Pathways to Research and Lyman Briggs research funding
Congratulations to undergraduate research assistant Marlo Lulgjuraj on being awarded two research funding awards, the Pathway to Research funding and a Lyman Briggs College Research Scholar award. These awards have supported Marlo’s independent research project focused on narrative identity which aims to identify how agency and life satisfaction are related across stages of psychotic illnesses (i.e. Clinical High Risk and First-Episode Psychosis). Her project also evaluates how socioeconomic factors may influence these relationships in different illness stages.
The Pathway to Research program provides students with exposure to research experiences, as well as guidance in identifying potential research mentors. The PTR funding provides students with approximately $3,375 to support their work on substantial research projects. The Lyman Briggs College Research Scholar award provides students with approximately $2,000 to support independent research projects. Marlo will present her findings at the 2026 University Undergraduate Research and Arts Forum and the 2026 Society for Research in Psychopathology conference. Congratulations Marlo!
